I once had an assignment at AID to get the AID GS employees to stop using punch cards (it was 1979) for their computer code. The bosses wanted them to use terminals, but the government programmers wouldn't trust them. They trusted cards they could hold in their hands. Really.
The solution? Take away all the furniture they used to store the cards. That made the programmers give up and start using terminals to write code.
Maybe Mr. Trump could take away all the employees desks and chairs. Eventually they'll get tired and go away.

The State Department says South Africa's ambassador to the United States, who was declared "persona non grata" last week, has until Friday to leave the country.
A long time ago, like a really long time ago, I read a book 'Ginger Lacy, Fighter Pilot', which a fantastic telling of the WW2 RAF experience, based around the pilot in question. It's well worth a read - apparently it's available on Amazon.
When in a foreign country, you have to respect the rules and regulations of that country, even if you dont agree with them.
Thailand has VERY strict laws against saying ANYTHING bad about the royal family or king (lese majeste laws). I am aware of them, and no matter what I think of the king of Thailand or the law itself, I would never allow anything that could be seen as breaking these laws.

I wonder how it’s normally charged? Probably varies by state.
Indeed it does. For example in Minnesoooooooota it's a misdemeanor but they're trying to pass a law to make it a felony.

All told, more than 30,000 federal employees were fired in recent weeks after the Trump administration directed a mass purge of probationary staff.

Keep up! They have been rehired since what Trump did was not legal. Now they're getting paid to play golf! (or whatever they do on paid leave)
25,000 employees... costing us $8 million per day. So much winning!

Does Soros still read TNCR? I haven't seen him post here for a while, but I've had him blocked since that time he posted those photos of me in my underwear.

Not in this economy.
Good. Presuming we can believe the numbers. It's crazy that 30,000 is a "low" number for a month, but even crazier that it was 250,000 the previous two years...
